  4. Adding Fillings:

  5. Rolling the Sushi:

    • Lift the edge of the mat closest to you with both hands, and roll it over the fillings, pressing gently to shape the roll.
    • Continue rolling until the entire sheet of nori is wrapped around the fillings.
    • Press the bamboo mat firmly to shape the roll into a compact cylinder.
  6. Slicing and Serving:

    • Use a sharp knife dipped in water to slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces.
    • Arrange the sushi rolls on a plate and serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
